I blinked. “Sure, I’ve got a bottle of bourbon.” I looked at the clock. “I guess it’s never too early to enjoy a glass of bourbon.”

Henry meowed as he pranced up to Chrissy, and then rag dolled onto the ground in front of her. “Hey, buddy,” Chrissy murmured to him as she stroked his chest. “Miss me?”
